Activities & Clubs

engaging

Life in a retirement community needn’t be ordinary or predictable. At Lexington Square Lombard and Elmhurst, we’re dedicated to helping residents ‘think outside the box,’ creating meaningful moments and experiences.

Planned Activities

Activities are planned by our talented life enrichment staff, although spontaneous parties and celebrations are not unheard of!

We strive to have something for every person, interest, curiosity, talent, and hobby. Our activities are held throughout our beautiful campus, in addition to trips and adventures elsewhere.

Clubs

Belonging to a club is a great way to make friends and find companionship with like-minded people. You have the time and opportunity to start a new hobby or pursue a long-time favorite. If a resident has an idea for a club or program, we collaborate to create, develop, and lead it if they desire.

Volunteer Groups

At Lexington Square, we like to make a difference in our community. Many of our residents choose to volunteer, which provides a healthy boost in self-confidence, offers mentorship opportunities, and increases overall life satisfaction. Our volunteer groups work side-by-side with other volunteers of all ages in the community to impact our larger community for the better.

Resident-Driven Programming

We have abundant engaging programming, much of which is planned in advance, and some of which is more spontaneous.  All of it is designed with our residents’ interests and talents in mind!
